surround yourself with art that means something to you! whether it’s a child at a special age, siblings on vacation, or a meaningful place in time, let’s capture that memory in paint. i primarily work with oils on canvas; however, i also love working with graphite, watercolors, and ink for specific projects. if those mediums are of interest to you, please reach out and we can discuss some options. below is a general overview of how i handle oil painting commissions. please don’t hesitate to reach out with any questions!

_we start with 2-4 of your favorite images, desired size, timeline, and how you intend to frame the piece.

_after looking through your images, i’ll let you know my thoughts on which ones will work best and why, framing ideas, colors, etc. we’ll also discuss desired method of delivery at this time.

_pricing is listed below. 50% deposits are due prior to beginning work.

_i’ll do a pencil sketch on the canvas for you to review.

_then painting starts! it typically takes a few months or more depending on size and the season. oil dries very slowly and i take my time on commissions. i also spend summers with my children and painting personal projects.

_i'll send you pictures of the piece for your review. anything can be changed or modified; however, we’ll only do two rounds of this review/modify process.

_once approved, i’ll varnish the painting and we’ll schedule delivery.
